We’re hiring all front of house positions! Bartenders, servers, runners, & hosts!

Our front of house staff is tasked with making our customer’s experience at Sloop welcoming & enjoyable. Our ideal candidates have previous customer service experience, an enthusiasm for craft beer, & the ability to work as a team to deliver the best experience possible. A brief description of each position is below!

Hosts

• Greet & seat guests as they enter.

• Assign tables to servers.

• Answer any questions customers may have.

• Coordinate reservations. 

• Answer the phone.

Servers

• Providing table service - taking orders, delivering food & drinks.

• Checking in to ensure every customer has a great experience. 

• Answering questions & making suggestions. 

• This is a tipped position!

Runners/Bussers

• Delivering food & drinks.

• Bussing tables & keeping the tasting room neat during service. 

• Assisting customers - answering questions, etc.

• Assisting servers to help keep the floor operating smoothly. 

• This is a tipped position!

Bartenders

• Pour draft beers per tasting room standards for bar guests as well as the rest of the tasting room.

• Prepare & serve other drinks including cocktails, wine, sodas, etc, for bar guests as well as the rest of the tasting room.

• Providing service for bar guests - taking orders, delivering food & drinks.

• Checking in to ensure every customer has a great experience. 

• Answering questions & making suggestions. 

• This is a tipped position!

Hiring part time & full time! Line cooks help us maintain a safe & clean work environment. Our ideal candidate has at least one year previous kitchen experience in a line cook role & the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen. A positive attitude & a love for good food & craft beer is a plus! 

Daily Tasks Include

• Assisting w/ opening & closing the kitchen. 

• Food preparation prior to & during shift. 

• Executing menu items start to finish per company standards. 

• Operating a grill, pizza oven, fryer, & other kitchen equipment safety & efficiently.

• Maintaining a neat & sanitary work area.
